I have been craving Raspberry Mocha Frappes a lot with this pregnancy (don’t worry; I go for the decaf), as well as some divine treats called Yoguccinos from a local coffee shop! As much as we pregnant ladies would like to eat for two, we really aren’t, so I try to limit my high-calorie drink indulgence to one or two a week. This leaves a lot of days where I need to find creative ways to fix my cravings!
On one such day, it hit me: why not combine the flavors of my two favorite frozen coffee drinks into one low-calorie version? That is how the recipe below came to be, and I am happy to say that it offers more protein for me and my little one, while satisfying those crazy cravings!

Raspberry Mocha Frappe!
For this recipe, you will need:
1 ½ cup crushed ice
One container light raspberry Greek yogurt
3/4 cup cold decaf coffee
1 Tablespoon hot cocoa mix (more if you want it sweeter)
1 Tablespoon plain cocoa powder
Light whipped topping (optional)

Combine all ingredients in a blender or use an immersion blender like this one (which I absolutely love, because it crushes the ice and makes your drinks just like the coffee house!). Blend until desired consistency, pour into your favorite glass, top with whipped topping -if desired- and enjoy!

What is your favorite coffee drink? I would love to hear it in the comments, and don’t forget to share this recipe with frappe lovers in your life through the social share buttons below!
