Let this delicious Peppermint Mocha Cookie Jar gift save you a little stress this Christmas season! If you are: A, out of time; B, low on funds; or C, just in need of a great idea, this one’s for you! You can make this fun gift in less than 5 minutes for around five dollars, which -for me- is something to get excited about! On top of that, this cookie mix makes deliciously soft, bakery-style cookies! Mmm! I want to crack mine open and whip up a batch just thinking about them! These are a terrific standby for unexpected guests or for Christmas parties you find yourself needing a last minute gift for, too!
Peppermint Mocha Cookie Jar
For this recipe, you will need:
32oz Ball-style jar
15oz chocolate cake mix
1 cup peppermint chips of your choice
This printable tag (makes four, just in case!)
Ribbon
Tulle
A rubber band
Scissors
Fill the jar with the cake mix and top with peppermint chips.
Tighten on the lid and cut your tulle into a square large enough to hang over the lid, and secure it with a rubber band.
Tie the ribbon around the jar to conceal the rubber band and into a bow, then print and cut out the printable tag and attach it to your gift!
Christmas is coming fast, and I hope this project makes your gift-giving a little more fun and personal! If you enjoyed the project (or if you couldn’t help yourself and just made and ate the cookies instead), tell me all about it in the comments below!
