This fun Birthday Party Bow Game is the perfect fit for any Minnie Mouse party, and for us, there couldn’t have been a more appropriate party game! My daughter loves bows: when greeting her each morning I hear “Hi Mommy!” followed immediately by, “Get dressed”! She lives for fashion – I’m talking from the bow on her head to the socks on her toes! Pink, Minnie, princesses, puppies and kittens top her fashion chart and multiple outfits daily seems to be on trend! She absolutely loved this activity for her Birthday party and continues to enjoy all the lovingly-made bows, sometimes wearing multiples at one time!
Birthday Party Bow Game
For this craft/game, you will need:
Ribbon scraps – any size or color of your choice
Buttons, charms, little flowers, or other small accent pieces
Needles and thread (If you desire, I used my Minnie Mouse foam head as a pin cushion)
Lay everything out on the boutique table around your Minnie Mouse foam head (see Part Two of this series for instructions on making her)
Make sure the table is near an outlet for the glue gun. I made a little sign with instructions for the guests, stating “Please make a bow for the birthday girl and place it on the table. At the end of the party, she will chose the winners for best bow creation! May the best bow win!”
Have fun, and come by to check out Part 4 of Minnie’s “Bow-tique” next week!
