These frozen banana minion pops are the perfect no-bake treat for summer, and sure to thrill the little minions in your life! My kids have a blast using their minion pops as puppets before chowing down on them, so I am really excited to share them with you! Besides being fun to eat, these minion treats are very easy to make, so my son enjoyed helping me create them! This would also be a great minion birthday party idea; you might even be able to *GASP* avoid the messiness of ice cream? Grab your goggles, because here we go!
Frozen Banana Minion Pops
For this recipe, you will need:
3 bananas
Yellow candy melts
Black candy melts
Candy eyes
Piping with a small round tip or a sandwich bag with a corner cut out
Popsicle sticks or craft sticks like the ones I received from craftprojectideas.com

Carefully peel your bananas and cut them in half (depending on the curve of your banana, you may want to shape the top with a knife). Push the sticks into the bottom of each banana and set aside.
Melt about half a bag of yellow candy melts in a glass measuring cup in 30-second intervals at half power, stirring in-between until melted. Dip each banana and place on wax paper.
Place the candy eyes and melt a handful of back candy melts in 30-second intervals at half power until melted, then fill your piping bag.
Carefully pipe goggles around the eyes and give your little minions some hair and smiles!
The great thing about candy melts is that they dry quickly, so if your little helpers just can’t wait, they can always enjoy right away! Otherwise, place them in the freezer for frozen banana treats worth celebrating (while you’re waiting, you could make some of these fun minion hats)!
I hope you love these minion treats as much as we do! I would appreciate it so much if you shared them with all the minions in your life through the sharing buttons below! 🙂
This look so amazing! This is something I’m going to have to try for myself haha, no little ones around but I can see myself snacking on some minions! 🙂
